What is nano?

What is it? What's the tank need to be set up to be nano tank?

Just anything small. Usually less than 10 Gallons. Some people even use vases and other neat glass objects.

If it's small and you can put water and plants/decoration in it, it's a nano

To add to mrbman7's post, it's basically a "miniature" aquarium... these tanks in some cases require slightly more diligence to maintain b/c of the smaller water volume which means less room for error. A nano-tank can have everything a larger aquarium would have (HOB filter, heater, canister filter, CO2, etc.).

I say 10g's and less is a nano. But truly anything 5g's and less.

So, it is a term for small tank then. cool I got 2 nano tanks 5 & 10 gal.
