CO2 recommendations

Any recommendations for an affordable co2 injection system?
Do you guys think, its overkill for a plant only 10G?

Depends on the plants you will be keeping and the amount of light you are going to provide. Mostly how much light.

Heck no some people have pressurized co2 on a 10g. Is that what you are asking about is pressurized if not you will be able to pull off DIY co2 with no prob on a 10g anything bigger may be a little more complicated though.
You can check out dr fosters and smith's website. they have a variey of co2 options to get you started or big al's

ive got a 10 gallon and im upgrading to pressurised simply because diy can be and often is extremely unreliable, in the states rex grigg is probably your best bet, he makes the best stuff from what ive read.

I have used DIY in the past. Tends to be cumbersome and as already stated, unreliable. I might still do it as a stop-gap, but only till I can save enough money for a pressurised.

Well here is what i have and am using. I think it is realitivly reasonably priced and all you will then need is a c02 tank. Now i know people will say there are better regulators and what not, but this is the only one i have used and never had any probs with it so far and the price seems good to me.

Thats a real good price!!
How do you regulate the CO2? Just frequent checks?
Did you need to buy any accessories for this system other than the CO2 bottle?

that system comes with a neddle valve that you adjust how much co2 you want to inject. no the only other item you would need is a co2 bottle. Now other people here and myself included, will tell you to upgrade the hoses, check valve, better diffuser, and countless other additions you can do. But you can use this system staright out of the box with a co2 tank
