Calculators valid for Nanos?

This one takes the measurements of your tank, and the measurement of the length between the light source and the gravel.

This one takes the measurements of your tank only.

Are any of them valid for nano tanks? Or is it taking the regular wpg rule which is not valid for nanos? Also, what would be considered medium lighting.

Is there any other calculator or way to find out how many watts you need? I just bought a 8x8x8 cube tank that came with a filter and a 7w clip on flourescent light, and was wondering if this would be enough to grow glosso or HC well.
