bookworm lights and cheep glass cubes

Just curious if anyone knows a source for bookworm cf lights (bayco 13 watt cf lights with remote ballists) or rimless cubes (like ocean free - but actual cubes and sized between 5 and 10 gallons.

Am dreaming, but perhaps my dream tank is already made and I will not have to build it all myself.

Sorry if this ADG tank is a waste of your time, as this is not really a cube. But they do call it a cube garden and it's rimless.

At least it's in Texas, so shipping should not be too bad.

It's a dream tank. All precision ground and polished glass, No frame. No thick gobs of silicone up the sides. It is about as close to perfect that you are going to get in a 10 gallon glass tank until such time that they figure out how to mold glass into a single piece like many acrylic tanks.

It also is made by Amano's company ADA, and shipped from Japan. Both driving up cost. It's not a value priced 10 gallon - it's a dream 10 gallon.

Nothing wrong with dreaming... But it is (esp the "clear" version) is outside of my current tank budget. ADA tanks have long been on my dream list.

I'm always torn between wanting several different tanks with different looks, fish, plants, etc. and wanting to do one tank, but do it up right. If I ever "do it up right" those ADA tanks surely are beautiful. And if you're thinking about something that's going to be a centerpiece in your home, your primary (or at least major) hobby, and a source of joy for years to come, the cost doesn't seem so prohibitive, long-term. A lot of people spend a lot more on a big-screen t.v., a flashy car, or other hobbies than you would spend on a dream tank.

But, of course, there's a place for the $9.99 10 gallons too!

fwiw - I paid about $150 for my 58. If I could have gotten (had known about, and had not been in a rush) the ADA 58 for $300 it would have been more than worth it. - Even if I had to drive to Houston to get it.
