Can I use this light on my JBJ Nano?

Bought the 12g Nano a year ago and just now filled it up with Eco-complete and water, (had to make a beautiful stand), and now I see it's got a 24W Combo (50/50) Reef Bulb, rather than the other kind they sell which they refer to as a 24W daylight plant bulb.

Is this reef bulb useless for plants? This will be my first planted tank so there will be plenty of opportunities for me to kill my plants in other ways, I'd just as soon not do it right at the start with the wrong bulb.

Daylight plant bulb is only 9.99 at Fosters and Smith but if the reef will work just as good--

You will need to swap the bulb.
