Ph spiking ft.how to bump up gh kh without alternating ph

Title says it all.

My ph just keeps jumping I tried a buffer a did use drift wood.

I do have rocks in the tank not limestone
Is there away I can get rid of the ph spikes without removing the rocks?

Any change in kh will affect ph. Did you test the rocks before putting them in the tank? If they are affecting kh, without removing them you will be fighting a battle you cant win.

if you're using co2, you could use a ph controller and a solenoid to lock in ph. and assuming you're doing regular water changes, you should be able keep gh/kh from fluctuating too much.
