Make your own when it comes to small tanks. Much cheaper.

There is no "best" - it's all subjective and up to personal preference.

There's a choice for every budget, every aesthetic, every want/need these days.

Maybe, if you have a glass shop near you. Otherwise, Mr. Aqua stuff is good, and from what I read, AquaTop is excellent, both half the cost of ADA.

I buy small nanos from my LFS. They have a 2 gallon that has the same footprint as a Aqueon 2.5 but shorter. But I agree, it depends on what you are looking for. I don't mind have rimmed tanks as long as they look nice and fit all that I need. Some people wanted only rimless nanos. Personally, I like the aquarium masters tanks (or glass masters?). They are cheap, clean with black silicone, and nicely made. Cost me 20 for tank, lid, and dividers.

the glass on ADA tanks is less green than other tanks, hence the increased price tag.

There is a noticeable difference in quality if you look closely among aquariums. In general, I find that with aquariums, it is not worth skimping on quality.

ADA would be my vote hands down.

ADA is nice. The AquaTop ones look nice too. Much cheaper pricetag as well.

Nano rimless?

ADA/Do!Aqua have the best selection in sizes and quality.
