Tom Deco Kit 3 Gallon Planted Betta Tank

It's kinda boring and yeah I have a fake ornament in there but I thought I'd share anyways. I only paid ten bucks for the tank.

Just some java fern and anubias in there, and a beautiful old Halfmoon betta I've had for probably two years now.

Nice start. But I don't think you should bury the java fern's rhimzome

It looks good and I actually like the ornament, looks realistic. The above poster is right, the java fern will rot with the rhizome buried. You could tie them on to the ornament or a rock with some fishing line, or just bury the hair like roots in the rocks and leave the rhizome exposed.

Whoops didn't realize I buried them that much! I may just tie them to the ornament, the thing that sucks though is they're so tall!

What's the best way to attach moss to the ornament?

+1 for moss on the ornament! Also super glue will work if your willing to remove the piece. Nice nano setup though!

Super Glue Gel is what I used to attach my moss to driftwood and works great. Can get it for cheap at the dollar store.

18g (Red Cherry Neo Shrimp | Malawa Shrimp)
7.5g (Yellow Neo Shrimp)
3.2g (Pumpkin Neo Shrimp)
2g (Snails)
11.4g (new home soon for the Pumpkin Neos)

I disagree, I like the fake thing as it is. But I think the tank would look better with a carpet of moss surrounding it.

I want to do something with a lot of moss next time.
