I've been inspired to start a super-nano using an the test tube from my Aquarium Pharmaceuticals test kit!

Water changes will a pipet...heh...now the only problem is how are you going to find out what your pH is with that much amount of water ?

RO water. One tiny container of Excel will last forever. My biggest concern would be that the entire "world" doesn't evaporate during the course of the day.

nanometer - "a unit of spatial measurement that is 10-9 meter, or one billionth of a meter."

Assuming this is where the nano in nano tank comes from, lots of possibilities open up as we approach that scale. Maybe a tank so small that what I regard as a bothersome green diatoms growing my glass becomes a lush green carpet, if we just turn it on its side.

Heck, I think I've got some "nano grass" now! Gotta go! I need to post in "Swap and Shop"...

Steve - 33g reef and a 180g planted in need of a re-scape.
