Smile Aqualifter for Nano Tank

I am new to this group. Below is my 1.5 liter nano tank which I put it up together two days ago, it is a vase from a craft store. I planted some Glosso and baby tears from my clipping, no fish. Just experimenting for now. I may add some Riccia at a later date. Lighting is a 23W daylight spiral bulb. I use an Aqulifter for the water circulation and it also acts as a CO2 reactor. I use a T connector to bridge the water intake and DIY CO2 bottle, CO2 disolve rate is very good, I hardly see any bubble coming out of the output sideSince it is only a 1.5 liter tank, it appears that there is enough water circulation. The intake also provides a function of surface skimmer although it is not very efficient.. Any comments are welcome.

Wow, very stylish. I'm interested to see how it turns out.

Very trendy looking indeed! Is that "skimmer" from the thing a dentist uses to suck the life out of your mouth? If not, what is it?

Thanks!

The skimmer head was made of a broken check value. I cut off one side and made a few slots to allow water pass through.

THATS AWESOME!! I love it. Just need to hide the DIY CO2 bottle a bit.

KILLER JOB!
