Bet he's lovin' it! I just love the look on their little fish faces when they find themselves in a real planted aquarium. Like they fell asleep and woke up in Fish Heaven.

Are those flattened out moss balls in the front?

Figs [currently in a reduced-fish zone]

figgy, yeah, it's a marimo ball ripped open and inside out. I weighed it down with some small rocks, and it started ataching itself to the rocks.

Awesome tank Sarah, a little slice o' heaven. I especially like what you did with the driftwood.

dudley, the tank is an oceanfree - maybe less than a gallon? I'm using a red sea nano filter, and flourite/gravel from my 29 tank. Light is a 30 inch NO flo strip that I had lying around, placed directly on top of two nano tanks on the kitchen counter.

plants are:
anubius petite nana
crypt wendtii (not sure if this is the right one, just pulled it from another tank)
marimo flattened,
java moss
java fern windelov
micro chain sword
riccia
ranunculus

fauna are:
1 cutey ptooty crowntail betta
gazillion red ramshorns (but I think cutey ptooty eats all their eggs so I've noticed a disappointing decline in population)
