Buying Nano's

anyone have any suggestions for buying unique nano tanks? haven't found much variety online...saw some nice one's from japan before, but lost the link

try lookin on aquabid or ebay. sometimes nanos come up on there (eg, finnex)

They sell lights also, they are sold under the Redsea Brand also.

A cheap kit...

Check out the Azoo Magic Box. Nothing special, but for $30, it's not too shabby:

I've got two of these now due to poor shipping and one is currently set up on my desk at work. I'll get some photos up soon.

The only note I would add is that both tanks came with a 50/50 bulb which has a nasty tendancy to hurt your eyes. Other than that, no real complaints.

buy them? I just keep an eye out for cool things, such as a all glass beer stine I found. LOL looks kinda cool actualy. Now, if only the cats would stop trying to drink outta it!

My nano of strangest origin would have to be the Thin Layer Chromatography Tank I got at work and turned into a betta tank. It was about a gallon.

You can go to Hobby Lobby and look at the glass vases they have. And use a desk lamp with a CF bulb for your lighting . Or sit it by a window...
