Riccia or glosso

Which one is easier to take care of? I have the flourite, Diy co2 and a 25 watt 6500k bulb for my 2 gallon tank but I am really worried about algae, I could never get a good handle on it. So which one is better in soaking up the crap in my water? I am thinking of riccia but why do people say they are harder to take care of than glosso?

I'd have to say glosso, but that is because riccia seems to be a hair algae magnet and if not properly tied down, makes an unsightly mess. Glosso is rooted, which I like.

both are high maintanece plants but to me glosso is less maintanece and looks better. When you think your carpet is too thick just rip everything out and replant a few plants and in 3 weeks it'll be back again but with riccia you gotta go through a week or so of riccia floating around everytime you pull it out to clip
