My 2 gal Hex

I just started this its still in the growout phase. The plans for it are, A field of dwarf hairgrass all around the wood which has Willow moss attached to it now. I dont like hte color or leaf size of it so i might switch to a denser variety.

The idea is to have a grass field with a tree covered hill or mountain rising from it. With a Tree on top of it. Whcih will be a baby anubis or java fern when they grow in my 37gal.

ITs very low tech right now. All it has is a 15watt screw in.

its the second pick. The other is what my 5 gal used to look like

I don't think webshots let's you link to a pic from their site. I copied and pasted thed address from the properties.

My problem with my hex is that it's hard to do a lay out because of the multiple sides and the distortion from the different panes.

Cool concept! I think it might work in a hex. Let us know how it progresses and good luck!

Are you going to be dosing ferts or CO2? Do you have any fish or shrimps in it yet?

later on once i get a small filter for it, and it grows out more im goin to get some cherry shrimp and a maybe a dwarf puffer and hope he doesnt eat them. Or a couple small fish. For now i take a couple ounces of water from my other tanks and pour it in every other day. And im using Iron enriched plant grow for now. So far its doing good. I like the hex shape. It allows you to rotate the tank anyway you want for a different view. It does distort but I dont mind.

Sorry bout the pic i will replace it with a link to my site.
