first planted tank(kinda) super low tech

bowl dimensions: 10 inches round 3 1/2 inches tall
substrate: 1 inch of silica sand from a south lake tahoe beach on vesper point
3 small anubias nana
2 micro crypt or cryptocorne(i think it's micro crypt lfs owner says cryrtocorne)
1 tiny piece of wisteria(dime size diameter)
1 3 inch long piece of anachris
some green hair algae tied to a thumb sized piece of white base rock(i put it in there intentionally because i thought it would look nice and it does)
1 male yellow king cobra guppy named trevor
1 dwarf african frog named qua
2 ghost shrimp un-named
2 olive snails named earl and carl(carl is on loan in my brothers algae covered 5g bowfront)
1 small black snail named bob that i think is a black mystery snail
unknown number of black worms
unknown number of freshwater "pods"(forgot what they were called)
about a dozen small trumpet snails
no lights, it's just sitting one a corner table surrounded by windows
no filtration besides 1 inch of sand and slow growing plants
diy 20oz co2 injector made with yeast and sugar in unknow mix with an airstone at the end that doesn't produce many bubbles and the ones that do just seem to float to the surface like normal bubbles
water changes maybe once a week or so about 20 oz at a time plus top offs
absolutely none besides what the livestock produce and whatís in the water and sand

i had a cookie bowl that was left over from bringing home my pretty little ringneck snake from camp that i decided would make an interesting little tank. i pulled out my favorite piece of algae coated base rock from my ten gallon brackish tank and bleached it my leaving it in my backyard in the sun for 2 weeks and scrubbing it with vinegar then added it to the bowl along with about an inch of sand from a lake tahoe beach and added two crabs then later a small anubias and a ghost shrimp. the ghost shrimp went to my f8 puffer and the crabs jumped the tank so i decided that the rock had lost it's main purpose of providing the crabs a place to get out of the water and it took up alot of the bowl so i took it out and added more plants and new livestock. the final product of my efforts is now looking rather nice.
