Trumpet snails in a nano-vase

Hello all,

As I am moving away to university, i have dismantled my 10g tank and am keeping a betta in a large glass vase. The vase will have a windelov java fern on a piece of drift wood and some left over flourite on the bottom. Other than that - just the betta.

As I was cleaning out my tank today, I noticed that there are quite a few livebearing trumpet snails left in the substrate (they're alive). Would adding one or two to my vase help it at all, or would the simply die and foul the water? The vase has a capacity of just under one gallon.
