building a nano - light and filter help requested.

Ok, I hate trapping betas in tiny tiny ugly bowls. Step kids see me working on my tank too much and want betas in their rooms....

LPS (should not quailfy as a lfs) had some pico cubes. price scanned one - liquatation sale $3.50. Ok now I have a cute little 1g glass cube (could have goten one with a filter for $8, but questioned the quality of the filter).

Heard most about the azoo and the red sea filter. Will look a bit more at lfs, then probably order. While I knnw red sea also makes a light, it looked a little week. Cora life makes a nice bulb, but not sure what to do about a pendent. Heard a few attempts at LED lighting, but have not heard any followups (was also currious about the premade LED arrayes).

Anyway - what does the community recomend for lighting? Will be planting this little "amano style - hehe, frameless anyway" cube once I have my bigger tank under control.

I have the red sea 7 watt one. It works fine. Grows my moss well, and keeps my blyxxa green.
