Question What is NANO

So what makes a tank a nano tank and not a planted tank? What is the difference?

I am only asking because I started what I thought was a NANO tank but it might be considered a planted tank. It is a five gallon with a betta and a lyretail fry it has anubius and java fern from my 30 gallon planted tank (because it has plants in it).

Any tank with plants in it is planted. Nano refers to the size of the tank. HTH.
