I love my aqeon 4g! Be careful though! I had shrimp in this tank until I found out that a lot were getting sucked up through the wet dry filter in the back. It took hours to get them from there!

I had to restart the tank so I could use silicon to stick some mesh on the intake. It's cycling right now so we'll see how it works out.

I'm giving some away in my RAOK if your interested. Mesh that is. Good luck!

no worry the previous owner already added a sponge pad to block the filter area.

That is a very bright shrimp, shame about the algae though

Awesome looking tank. I have the same one. I used some AC70 sponges to cover up the little hole and slits at the top for the wet dry filter and no shrimp gets in there now. I got some algae in mine as well, but I use a cheap $1 soft bristled toothbrush to clean the acrylic. Anything else will scratch the heck out of it

Who would have thought that plants like dirt?!

LOL I'm using a toothbrush too, just too lazy to clean it everyday. actually I like to leave a few spots, that adds a lot of "life feeling" to the tank
