Just picked up 3 free 61L (15) gal tanks - ideas?

Wondering what kind of fish/plant setups would be appropriate for this size tank?

They have a valve 1/4 way from the top so water changers will be a breeze - open, then fill up or let rain top it up if outside/under patio.

Bear in mind I'm in Aus so not everything is available! I'm wondering if I cover the sides exposed to sun if that will prevent algae or if I should put them outside on a table in a shady corner but drill a small hole into the gutter above, with a hose to the tank (if valve is covered with mesh any excess water will go out the valve without fish, and reduce water change frequesncy) it rains a lot here surprisingly...

Anyway feel free to add thoughts, water is around 7 from the tap here, never measured rain water. Thinking of going to a local creek and just grabbing a bunch of local gravel and plants.
