Curios if anyone has experience keeping daphnias or brine shrimps in nanotanks?

Can anybody share experience on keeping daphnias or brine shrimps in nano or pico tanks?

BTW, I am not interested in hatching techniques. I don't want to hatch and feed them to my fish. Just want too keep them for as long as possible with little maintenance. I assume I will need a dirt tank with pretty good filtering.

Both species seem small enough to be comfortable in a 1-2 gallon non-overcrowded tank, please correct me if I am wrong. Both have a life span of 1 year which is better than some killifish.

Thanks in advance,
