Vase Nano Idea

OK guys, I am not a Nano person so I came to the source. I have this beauty that's been in the family a long time and actually my mother at one point used it as a Betta bowl.

I plan on doing something similar EXECPT obviously with plants as well. Lucky Bamboo that is.

Bag of Eco really is all I need. Since I am use to hightechs, tell me

How does the plant get its light?
Since there will be no filters, I am assuming weekly wc for the Betta?

Tips and whatnot are appreciated. YES that is a Rockstar

The plant gets it's light however you give it light, lol. I tend to go for desk lamps, A) cheap, B) bulbs that can grow plants are cheap.(C), you can get some really cool lamps) This tends to give them way too much light however, so a good cover of floating plants is great. Dwarf water lettuce is my favorite, although its roots get really long. Great at using up nitrates though.

I agree desk lamps are good to use for nanos.

Also like you said a weekly w/c would be good for the betta.
