10 gallon start up

Hi planted tank,

Have a new 10 gallon this is what I have so far

1) 10 gallon tank with hood from lfs
2) azoo plant grower bed
3) marineland filter
4) lace rock
5) heater
6) pressurized co2
7) seachem flourish, root tab, potassium
8) lighting: spiral cfl bulbs X2 13-26 watt 6500k
9) glossotigma

I'm trying to grow a carpet of glosso is two 26 watt spiral cfl enough? Too much?

For the pressurized co2 how much should I be injecting? I have a bubble counter and diffuser don't know how to find out the ppm. What's ideal for growing glosso?

Right now the tank is a dry scape just the soil and lace rocks.

My reason for posting is I need advice on lighting from what I've been reading so far two 13 watt cfl is a low light tank for anubias, java fern, crypts. I think I need 26 watt for glosso.

Promise to add pictures of tank later tonight.

Appreciate any advice

well i would recommend a dry start (emersed) on your 10 gal if you plan on having a carpet of glosso, and make sure you have a good amount, split it up into tiny parts plant about 3cm apart, keep moist with lights on, cover the top with plastic wrap so the moisture keeps in, mist about twice a day, just make sure it stays moist, and within a few weeks you should have a healthy carpet them you can add water

26 watts is decent 2.6 wpg which isnt extremely high but will do, not sure if it is enough for glosso, i would definately start emersed, no co2 (there is enough in the trapped air if emersed) what kind of substrate are you using?

Two 26 watt cfl not enough to grow glosso? What about HC will that do better under my lighting conditions?

Using azoo plant grower bed.
