Small driftwood sellers

I see everyone with these nice small driftwood pieces that fit perfectly in their <5 gallon tanks. I was just wondering where you guys buy the stuff, or are you just finding it? If you just find it, what are the requirements for driftwood, ie hardwood, etc.

Thanks in advance

I almost always collect wood myself, or have a friend collect it. Hard woods are the way to go. My favorites are scrub oak and manzanita.

Many people collect local wood, especially if manzanita is readily available in their area, usually in the western states. Some people buy it through the hobby, there are a few sellers on the forum that collect wild manzanita to sell, and others buy materials from other online sources such as ADA dealers like Frank at ADG, or from sites that sell manzanita for various hobby purposes, such as aquariums, bird perches, floral arrangements, etc.
