Heater & Fan for 4 gallon

Just posted this on scape.. Need second opinions please!

Can anyone recommend a small heater that I can set the temp? Also... What's a good fan for a rimless 4g (finnex)? The weather is getting hot and my shrimp tank is starting to hit 80!

Here's what was suggested to me..

Have you checked eBay and Amazon for clip-on fans? They're often a bit cheaper. And for about $5-$10, you can DIY your own with a computer fan and power supply. Places like Cooler Guys and others have adapters you can buy that won't even require you to DIY or cut wires - just position the fan over the tank.

There are a couple small Visi-Therm heaters that are adjustable and some of the Hydor heaters are small enough.

For a heater, check our the Hydor Theo 50w version. As far as fans go, either one of the fans you linked to would work, but have you thought about possibly getting a simple PC fan? Or maybe just a small room fan and pointing it at the tank? One of those hang-on-tank fans wouldn't do a rimless tank like the Finnex 4gal justice.

That's a ridiculous price tag! You could always do a DIY cooling fan using an adapter and a computer fan and should be a lot cheaper. I actually made my own for under $10.
