Converting Bowl to Shrimp Bowl

Ok.. so I was bitten by the shrimp bug a while back. Bought a batch of RCS, had them in a 10 gallon planted tank. I think I have around 18 now, all still quite small.
Ordered some PFR's today, and would like to keep them in the 10 gallon to breed, and I plan on moving the RCS over to the 2 gallon bowl.

Does anyone see an issue with 18~ juvies in a 2 gallon bowl if I do frequent W/C's? I can do at the least 1 a week, but in a small bowl more can easily be done. Thoughts?

Right now the bowl has some chain sword, moss, and a super thick floating mat of riccia. Does anyone see an issue with the riccia covering the surface completely?

And finally, air stone or no? I tried one tonight and its pretty loud... I'd like to do without.

Thanks!
Matt

Ok- No replies, I assume pictures are needed! I redid the bowl completely today. Vacummed the insane amounts of mulm off the sand (It was uninhabited so I NEVER did W/C's...), tied the riccia down to mesh to make a carpet, added some rocks to hold the mat down and put some salvinia minima in to cut the lighting down a bit. I think it looks great and I have 4 male RCS drip acclimating right now.
The light is a small desk lamp, you know the kind with the bulbs that get SUPER hot. I cant remember if they are halogen or what right now...
I'll post new pictures when the shrimp are in but for now here it is:

MORE PICTURES

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?
Matt

They are so cheap to set up compared to a full tank.
Bowl- 10-20$
Filter- 0$!
Plants- extra ones..0$
Shrimp- 1-2$ each..

Really head out to walmart, pick up a bowl and give it a try!

18 juveniles is going to be ok for a 2gal bowl for a while, but as they grow you will want to limit yourself to about 8-10 adults or less. because remember those will breed too.

Thanks newman, I actually just finnished looking through your bowl thread. Looks great! Once these grow up and begin to reproduce I will sell off the extras and limit it to 8 adults. Thanks for the advice!
