"The Tub"

I am now starting up a "moss only" 6qt tub to use for moss and shrimp.

here is what I have right now:
I just made some "Java Rocks" and will eventually consist of the entire bottom of the tank. (will use fissidens also once it grows more).

Far left one was my first try and realized that putting mesh over it was a bad idea.

Let me know what you think!

i wish you luck i have thought about doing this just never done it. java tends to be pretty stringy so i would try something like fissidens, xmass or peacock. i think they would be better

Why are you selling the moss if you want to get it full of it?

Otherwise looks good! I was wanting to do something similar!

Any update on this?
I'm curious how it's going. I may do something similar over the summer.

Don't have any new pics atm. I decided to transfer the moss to a 2.5g for a while so it can start to grow and then the trimmings of those mosses will go into the tub. I might also get a slightly bigger tub if I plan on getting shrimp in here. Only problem so far is finding correct lighting for this. Might just buy a lamp.

EDIT: and the "Java Rocks" are starting to really fill in, sadly when I placed them on there I forgot to cover the entire rock so it looks kind of spiky, but I'll just trim some of it and then glue that to finish covering it. btw I stopped having those up for sale......I didn't think anyone would want to buy them any anyways since they hadn't grown at all.
