Acrylic Cylinder Lighting

I came across an old underwater camera housing that holds about 2.5 gallons and want to turn it into a bowl and still have both ends sealed to keep its unique look. Any suggestions on how to light it? Attached pictures to show the top shot which is clear acrylic, the bottom which is a rubber end cap/seal and side shot.

Possibly thinking about cutting the all black sealed end to fit a bulb housing snugly and I can also run an airstone into the cylinder?
