First attempt at a planted tank progress. Suggestions?

Here's my first try at a planted aquarium.Plants are Crypt Undulata, Crypt Parva, Cabomba, Indian Sword, Wisteria, Java fern, and Java Moss. I'm running diy c02 plumbed into my hang on back filter. For ferts i'm using root tabs and Kent Pro Pllant every other day. Fish are Two female guppies with a few fry, two ghost shrimp out of my other tank and two small oto's. Any suggestions on my horrible aquascaping or any good equipment to clean things up a little and look better would be appreciated.

I really like it! The only suggestion I have is to remove the current background and replace it with a flat color. Black, maybe. The usual aquarium backgrounds like the one you have just take away from your gorgeous plants!

1st planted tank update

I took off the green plant background and put on a plain black one. just that made my tank look so much better. I also trimmed the cabomba back and replanted the stems behind the indian sword. They will be grown halfway up the tank by tomorrow. I was looking on ebay and found some little canister filters and lights. i would like to take off my hood and eliminate the hob filter cluttering up the back. The light is a 13 watt fluval clamp on style. The filters were made by Boyu, Tom Aquatics, and zoo-med. Any thoughts on these? Oh and i also swapped my guppies to another tank and put in a few Rasboras.

Just goes to show you what the right background can do for a tank.

just seeing the background change makes me want to add a background to my tank now. i like the tank, i dig the heavily planted and open water areas in your tank.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. i have one question though. What filtration are you guys using? i want to ditch the hang on back for a canister. i also am removing the hood and replacing it with the 13 watt fluval lamp next week.
