Online Plant Stores

I was referred to aquariumplants.com and they have everything I want except Flame Moss. I don't want to pay $20 shipping unless I get everything from one place. Im new to the forum, does plantedtank.net have any retailers / sponsors? Or does anyone recommend a source for quality plants. Im looking for Dwarf Baby Tears, Dwarf Hairgrass, Micro Sword, and Flame Moss.

Thanks !
Rob

You can get pretty much any plant you want here in the swap n shop section of TPT.

I even have duckweed in my water bong!

i would definitely go in the swap n shop, people are really generous, with healthy plants and way better than 20 dollars for shipping. I unfortunately did not do that when I first set up my tank and purchased from aquariumplants.com and spent 40 dollars on plus (mostly because of shipping) where I probably couldve spend 20 on here with shipping and more plants. Most of the plants I receieved from aquariumplants were pretty healthy... but the hairgrass.

Tried half a dozen places this winter...

and my experience with each was this: if you buy say 4 plants, one is absolutely top-notch amazing quality, one is pretty good/just fine, one is decent, and one is a disappointment, but salvageable. I've never tried swap and shop but have not been impressed with aquariumplants.com the two times i have used them. sweetaquatics is still not open so i found a place with a huge plant list in NY and about 10 dollar straight shipping: petswarehouse.com. Did not buy anything you mentioned, but their nana petites were amazing, as were the giant baby tears and carolina fanwort, with the java moss being ok (not real generous and a little rooty), the pennywort being ok, and the dwarf sag was covered in algae...see what i mean?

I made the mistake of buying plants from him, he gave me stargrass and rotala that was 90% melted, no roots (which one of his selling points was "you won't see plants come from me with lead around the base" well, I did) So I got those two things, one tiny piece of anubias nana, one larger coffee anubias, two TINY swords, (2"-) and a couple small bits of ludwigia for $60, it was horrible, never buying from him ever again

We don't allow vendor reviews (good, bad, indifferent) on this forum. Please do not post them in the future.

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.
