2G Re-Do

Hello! So, I've been starting to plant my tanks. While waiting for my plants for my 2.5g to come in I thought that I might as well do my 2g over. I have all the things that I need so I don't see why not to do it, plus it is currently very ugly!
Here's the tank:

Gravel, yeah I went with gravel I saw it and thought that it'd look nice:

Dirt:

I'm putting in bacopa monnieri, anubias afzelii, java moss which I will be trying to make a carpet out of it, and dwarf water lettuce when it comes in

Are you planning on having alot of stem plants? That dirt is gonna put off alot of nutrients so having a ton of plants will help use up all the excess. Having floaters too will help. What are you doing for lighting?

Thanks everyone for looking! I was planning on just a betta that I have. I was going to put in dwarf water lettuce for the plants. Also I love colors of the wind, it's so fun to play on the violin

So this is what happened: my DIY Sponge filter didn't work. I went out looking for a small filter today and the cheapest I saw was $10.99. I also saw a 10g tank with filter for $14.99... Well with some negotiation between my mother and I, guess who's getting the 10g tank? Me! Hopefully I'll get it in a few days and have it set up soon, so be looking for my new thread when I get it! Thanks for tagging along with this turn out disaster!
