What a nice nano!

Gee whiz, how do you get any work done with that little beauty by your desk? I'd be daydreaming all day long while staring at that aquarium!

Nice! I often wander into the Tox lab lounge where my Hex 5 is just to stare at the tank for a minute...sigh.

Thanks for all the great comments!

My setup consists of:
2.5g tank
Azoo palm filter
Azoo galaxy light - 13w pc
some black river rocks
cheaper petland gravel
black spray painted background

plants:
java moss
java fern
rotala indica
marsilea crenata
duckweed

fish/shrimp:
amano shrimp[2]
cherry shrimp [2]
split tail guppies [1 male - 2 females --- about 8 babies]

no heater, co2, or ferts - [the 13w pc light provides the heat, its on a timer]

- I was going for the cheap, low maintenance tank setup. Basically I top off the water and feed the fish about 3 times a week. Since its an office tank I really didnt want to spend alot of time maintaining it. Its definitely come a long way. Its been setup now since December 2004.

I am surprised the R. Indica survives under such low light. I imagine it grows so slowly that it's not a problem trimming it.

Two 1 GA desktops, a 5 gallon, a 2.5 gallon, a 10 gallon, a 20 gallon, a 25 gallon, and two 75 gallon tanks, all planted.
I am an expert on algae, so ask me if you have questions. I know how to grow it, just not how to get rid of it.

Right, it grows kind of slow but very thick and the leaves are very small compared to high-light tanks.
