Tox Lab Nano Pix Here!

I work in a toxicology lab and have been eyeing all the old glassware for possibilities as nano tanks. I found a Thin Layer Chromatography tank that's a gallon and started a little garden for my female betta Sleet. Going to add a few more leftover plants after I do the 6 gallon . Right now it's getting natural daylight, the substrate is eco-complete, using a drop or two of liquid fertilizer. Plants so far: anubia, java moss, crypts. Every other day I change out a cup of water.

She seemed to enjoy being photographed!

Sweet!

We have a couple of those on the surplus table at work. I was thinking about doing the same thing. I'll have to get on it!

It's in natural daylight. I've since torn it down and switched her to a more lushly planted Red Sea 1 gallon Betta set up (in purple!) with it's own pump and light. Pix later...
