Arrow What to stock in 4g nano?

If this was your tank, what would you stock? This can be anything... Shrimp, micro fish, etc. I'm gathering ideas, looking for something unusual that won't break the bank.

That is my tank, so heres what I have it stocked with at the moment!

Flora: 2x Hygrophila Corymbosa Compact
Riccia Fluitians
Salvinia Minima

Fauna: 4x Pygmy Cory Cats

In the future, once my scape is complete, I will be adding the following.

Flora: Unkown (Too many choices)

Fauna: 3x Micro Rasbora (Probably Celestial Pearl Danio or Red Striped Burmese).
1x Scarlet Badis

I'd make it a shrimp only tank, unless you've already got one of those! Maybe a nice piece of driftwood diagonally and some moss wall sections.

CPD's, shrimp, and a pair of CPO's or a pair of gilberti pygmy sunfish(avatar) and a school of mosquito rasboras. i would definently not do pygmy corys they need a 10 atleast and thats pushing it.

All of those sound interesting. I don't have a shrimp-only yet, and I have been wanting one for a while...
allaboutfish, what's your experience with the pygmies so far?

Just be remember that the tank holds 4gls in volume...when empty. That will not be the total volume available to the fauna once you add substrate, equipment, and hardscape.

In a tank of that size, I would only really suggest shrimp.

I like that idea too, but I thought about it and despite the attraction of the nano I already have a 2.5 and a 10 that I should work with before I go off on another tangent
