Temperature problem

Iv'e notice that my 2.5gal tank is now staying at 72 and not 75.... And the heater I have now is not adjustable... it stays at 75. And we have just barley got our first snow on the ground. So I was wondering how to I make the temp go back up? Do I need to buy a brand new heater??

Im not positive but it sounds like your heater raises the temperature relative to the room temperature. So my guess is the room is 3 degrees cooler than before. So yea either need an adjustable or turn up the furnace.

This is definitely the case. Every winter, my smaller tanks operate at a cooler temperature because my apartment tends to be far cooler than in the summer months. Really large tanks aren't affected nearly as much, but the ambient temperature plays a huge role in deciding what temp your tank is at.
