Planted 13l tank

Ok, so I was a little bored last weekend and remembered I had a wee 13L "goldfish" tank in the shed. I had a few spares and decided to set it up as a little planted project.

Here's the bits and bobs I had

13l tank - had this in the shed. Has been used for all tank, breeding tank, fry tank...

50w heater - picked this up very cheap

Blau clip on light - had it in the shed

Blau hang on filter - had it in the shed

Manado substrate - bought 1.5L bag today

Gave the tank and filter etc a good ould scrub

Ahh that's a bit better

Gave the Manado a light rinse to remove dust

Poured it an and flattened out. Added a stream/pathway with pea gravel just off centre.

Had to cut a bit off the plasic rim at top so light clip would fit

Filter on, heater in and tank in its final resting place

Tank now in new final resting place ;-)
Wife came home from work and said "I don't care how small it is. One tank in the kitchen, and one in the sitting room is enough" :-(

So upstairs it went. I used water from my other planted setup to fill this one. Note the tanned colour from all the bogwood !

And here it is up and running

I stuck a couple of crypts in for the minute
