Drew & Laura's 10 Gallon Tank Journal

This tank's been running for 2 months, still not totally settled on the scape. Will be trimming and adding a couple plants in the coming weeks. Still waiting for the HC to kick in. Might be interested in adding another rock or something else to improve the look. The baby angel is temporary.

10 Gallon Standard
- Eco-complete
- Fluval Mini C02
- 2x 15watt Daylight 6,500K
- Flourish Excel and Iron until Rootmedic comes in the mail.

Flora: HC, DHG, two types of Crypts(not sure the names,) Hygro Sunset, Peruensis, Red Nesea.

Please share any thoughts, opinions. Thanks!

Daisy(pup) and Reggie(Bolivian)

Thanks a lot, it's cool because Daisy looks at the fish and turns towards them when we hold her up.

Tanks looks great! I love the jungle-esque overgrown look in smaller tanks.

It is, just got it. I'm hoping it opens up and starts growing in the next week.

I kind of want a more controlled look, while simultaneously including a lot of different plant varieties.. This will take a little more work, still a work in progress for sure.

Can anyone offer any critique or suggestions on improving this scape? It's fine if ppl want to be critical. Would it benefit from a big rock? The removal of any of the plants? I realize trimming is necessary, but please let me know if anyone sees anything obvious that would improve the current arrangement. Thanks!!
