Ebi on wall shelf?

I just bought my 1st tank ever, however cannot find a stand I like.
Do you think a shelf using very good L brackets attached to wooden studs
Will support a 8 gallon tank?

not for very long, if at all. They would ahve to be some very beefy L brackets.

Not a good idea. Water weighs over 8lbs/gallon. Add to that the weight of your wood, rocks, lights, filters... Keep looking for a stand you like or make one yourself.

That's great! Now the real question is... will your wall be able to hold it? Go use a stud finder and hook it up to a stud.

I was going to drop 2x's in the wall specifically for this. Is an
Ebi on a shelf possible if I put this type of work into it? Has anyone ever seen anything like this?
