Flora fish recomendations

Any suggestions for beginner nano fish?
I was thinking some type of rasboras or guppies.
kinda stupid question but are there any apistos that would work in 7.9 gallons?

If you like guppies, endlers might be a good choice, they are guppies littler cousins and pretty easy for a beginner. I think pretty much any apisto needs more space than your tank has.

There is a nice sticky under the nano area with an excel file of nano fish. Dario Dario, Ember Tetras, Cross Banded Danio, Celestial Pearl Daino, Chili rasbora, Sparkling Grouami. The list goes on

Not all of those I would necessarily consider beginner fish though.

There are a couple that would not be good beginners fish, but certainly the majority of the list is. The only ones I would put in the "unique to keep" would be the Dario Dario due to the requirement of live or frozen foods, and the sparkling gourami which is a very very shy fish, everything else is pretty darn easy and hardy.

a small group would be fine, unless you are able to get a female, in that case.... I would just get a few, your tank will be crawling with them in no time lol
