newbie to planted nano looking for some tips

Hi Everyone!

So I been lurking around this forum reading and absorbing as much info as I can before I actually purchase a tank and start my own planted nano. I haven't kept a tank for about 7 yrs. When I did I had a 10 gal saltwater nano, and a 29 gallon brackish tank so I'm a bit lost when it comes to all the new kits, and equipment that are now available. I know starting a new tank can be pricey so I want to make sure I'm purchasing the right things. I leaning towards a fluval flora/ebi as it seems to come with everything I need to get started. My concern is it seems like the c02 kit, filter, heater, and lighting seems to be inadequate and would need to be upgraded. If thats the case than it seems the most cost effective way would be to buy the individual equipment separately. I plan to keep a pair of dwarf puffers or a pair of badis...stll haven't decided on the plants yet. I would greatly appreciate any feedback, and tips provided.

Thanks,

DvS
