Wifes office tank to home computer room tank!

Well my wife had a small tank at her work with her betta in it. Over time it became too time consuming and was taking up to much room so it was time for it to come home. Plus his fins werent looking so hot. Bonus for me is.....the tank he was in had a leak! So new tank time lol. On to the tank, nothing special. 5.5g, toms mini filter, hydor mini heater,PFS substrate, few rocks, one anubias, 1 frogbit, 1 mini water lettuce. And a dual halfmoon betta aptly named Dually. Using a 13w desk lamp to light it atm also. Still going to be adding more but this is it for now. This also slowed my rescaping progress on my 100 and 55 but hey i cant say no to another tank lol. Especially nice when the 5.5 was only $12.99 lol.

I like the rock. It looks good. I would add a little more maybe a nice branch or more plants. But it is nice. Pretty betta.

Beautiful betta, and nice start to the tank!
I would add some driftwood or more rocks/ Petrified driftwood to the tank.

How are you liking the mini toms filter? Does it filter enough for the 5.5 gallon, but not to strong for the betta. I've been wanting to get one but can't find any good reviews for a 5 gallon! haha

Well it was in the old tank, around 2 gallon and had too much flow. I had to aim it at the wall to keep from blowing the betta around heh. I guess time will tell how it is for this tank. I like the red sea nano filter HoBs too.

Looks nice! I have the Toms in my nano at work with a betta but in a smaller 3 gallon and it works just great.

This moss wall--is the starter moss behind the screen? Was it tied on in places?

Thanks--sox
