hemianthus callitrichoides Baby tears leaves grow longer

Need some help with my hemianthus callitrichoides, ada soil, 70 watts /14000k lighting, 8 hours per day. Why they won’t grow as carpet but the leaves grow very longer? Somehow I can’t find any answer online.
Any thing I did wrong ?
They looks healthy and green.
Please see photos before and after
Thank you everyone

Let me guess, you bought HC seeds. In either event that is not HC, it looks like Hygrophila polysperma. Considered a noxious weed in the U.S.

The top pic is 500% not HC. The bottom pic does look like HC, but if it grew into the top pic it's not HC. Did you buy as seeds?

Either way, not HC. looks similar when young, but it's just not HC. i've grown plenty of HC carpets.

Here's another thread where someone questioned whether they had HC. Look familiar?
