Smile Everythig Ecosphere

Hi there,
I decided to post this new thread for anybody who has any knowledge about Ecospheres. I was resently searching through the form for some answers to some questions but I couldn't find anything about them.

If you are someone who has created multiple ecospheres in the past or your just getting into them, this is the thread for your questions and answers. Please post photos and any info about past experiences with Ecospheres.

Thanks, InvertGuy

P.S. I already created a thread with this name in a different part of the forum. Nobody was seeing it so I posted this one here.

Here are some photos of my Ecosphere. It has been sealed for 2 months. Used to have 2 phantom fly larvae, some scuds, and a damselfly nymph in it but they died

Everything Ecosphere

Here is an update of how my ecosphere is doing. It has exploded with life! I have about 80 baby snails, hundreds of copepods and ostracods, a few funky looking planarian, and a layer of duckweed that wasn’t there before. I also let a medium sized RCS go in the jar. He is happy and thriving. Here r some photos. If you look at the first ones and then these ones, it’s amazing how much it’s changed.

Looking good! Do you know what plant that is? It looks halfway between a moss and a stem plant. Have you checked out the Life in Jars youtube channel? I don't know anything about ecospheres, but watching his stuff would probably be a good place to start.
