Question Fluval Spec V DSM - melting HC? Tips needed!

Hi all! I'm having some trouble during my DSM with my HC starting to melt/have yellow leaves. Pics below.

And here's a full pic of the tank. I'm about a month in now and was hoping to let it grow another couple of weeks before flooding

Here are my specs:

-Fluval Spec V

-Finnex Planted+ 24/7 HLC on max setting for 12+hours

-ADA Aquasoil Amazonia (Powder)

-Tank covered with saran wrap with small holes, and sprayed as needed; ~75% humidity

-HC, Staurogyne repens, Rotala Hra, flame moss and Ludwigia repens

I was figuring my water level built up from the spraying and got too high, so I took a paper towel and was able to get some excess water out. That was about two weeks ago, and I poked some wider holes in my saran wrap to get better ventilation since I'm having to spot treat some mold now and then. The HC could have been planted too thickly too; I'm having some really nice growth in some spots but other spots aren't doing as well. Since it's really thick, should I trim it while it's still in the DSM?

Any tips would be appreciated
