Do manufacturers test all tanks?
For those who might have saw my previous post in another thread...I thought I had a leaking tank, so I ran out to the LFS to purchase a replacement tank, and wanting to keep the same size I picked up the Fluval Flex 9 gallon tank.
Anyhow, packaging is completely new and everything in the inside is sealed and bounded. I noticed that inside the aquarium itself though the glass is dirty - some water spots and as well some streaks which shows like someone wiped down the tank. The outside glass had some sticky glue stuff, which came off easily.
I don't think it's a return since there was a white strap that went around the styrofoam securing the tank itself, and all looks untouched.
I bought other tanks before and have not seen such observations - even a fluval as well.
Just curious what others think - I don't know what goes into manufacturing an Aquarium in an assembly plant, but it would be nice to see.
