S Repens dying

Hello. I just set up a 10 gallon 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty new to the hobby (4 months now) but I have had good luck with plants. I put the s repens in my tank about 8 days ago. I added API root tabs as well. My substrate is eco complete. My parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 5 nitrates. I have two guppies just introduced. I put in seachem flourish 1/2 an mL twice a week along with potassium and iron in very small amounts. My tank is an aqueon. I have this same plant in my 5 gallon with a much worse light and same everything else and it's beautiful in that tank so I don't know why it's dying. It was a tissue culture just like my other one. It's turning brown and the leaves are mushy.

Sorry for the long post and I hope someone can help. Thanks all!

Some plants go through a "melting" phase especially if the plant is not grown in water ( tissue culture ). It is pretty normal to see some melting. Just leave it alone and don't touch it for a few weeks. You may think its dying but Im sure it will start rooting and sprout some new leaves pretty soon. Sounds like you have a pretty good substrate and the water quality is on check. Let your plant adjust to its new environment and give it some time. Be patient
