10 gallon, first planted tank

Just finished setting up a little 10 gallon, my last tank was a 55 gallon reef so this is the complete opposite, should be interesting. No plants yet I’m looking for a good deal on a bundle of beginner plants. The rocks are some kind or moss stone the guy at my LFS said “those ones are takashi Amanos favorite to use” so idk if that helps to ID them, and then just a small piece of driftwood. Substrate is a mix of regular black sand from petco and fluorite black (about a 1:4 ration in favor of the fluorite). It’s lit up with a cheap amazon LED, the brand is Nicrew, so far I love it. Only gonna be dosing flourish excel for now. If anyone has an abundance of easy to keep plants I’ll glady buy some!

Great looking start! Was the water always that clear from the beginning, even with the flourite? Check out ebay if you haven't already for some good deals on plants.

This looks nice but just wondering about different hardscape possibilities.
You have wood-rock-rock here, just wondering if you considered rock-wood-rock, with the wood being off center and perhaps a dramatic sloping upward in the substrate with the tips of the wood above water level. All the best john

I was looking at that light for my nano planted tank and instead went with a finnex fugeray. I have had good experiences in the past with finnex, however I am interested to see if this light will grow plants as i have seen mixed reviews on weather it will or not.
