Bba

I just started my 10g planted tank about 3 weeks ago and am getting a little bit of bba on my java moss . Iím doing 2 50% wc every week and dossing a very small amount of plant guys aio fert after doing wc . I have my ai prime HD running at about 70% for 6 hours a day and running pressurized co2 at about 1 bubble per second .

Typical BBA fixes:
1) address water flow.
2) adjust lighting to balance with nutrients.
3) get your hands dirty.

You’ve got your lighting and nutrient info, so making adjustments isn’t blind shots at least. Flow is a bit tough in that tank, takes some trial and error. I’d give some time in manual cleanup, and hope the plants eventually pick up the pace, as the initial nutrient excess tapers off.

I can only grow plants when they're completely under water. Everything else is doomed.

Did you start the tank with 2 50% weekly and 6 hrs or did you do that now, after seeing some algae. Usually BBA starts in new tanks from too much, not enough plant mass, not enough WC.

I have been doing 2 50% from the start and 6 hours of light with co2 coming on 2 hours befor lights come on and 1 hour befor lights turn off it shuts off

Bump: All my plants are doing good but the repens never made it and dyed from the start and not to sure why i need to order more plants too for it

Bump: What is the best test kit to get to test everything
