Been growing this anubias since it was only two or three leaves. Trying to grow more out for my 20g long planted. Been fighting algae in it for a while now. Click image for larger version

Common mistake, mine are currently in the same boat.
Put it in the shade. Low light slow growing plants get covered in algae with direct light.

I light half my tank, no light over the half with anubias. It gets a bit of additional office cfl lighting during the day.

Decided to move things around and hook back up the nano co2. Thinking of getting more plants too.

What is this float grown you speak of? Letting Anubias float on the surface?

Current aquarium(s): 9Gal cube - very low tech.

Yeah, just about.

I just try to make sure the roots are pointing down.
