Looks like you're wasting a lot of CO2 there. May want to look into a way to have more of it dissolve before escaping the water.

It's not super clear in those pics but most of the co2 hits the opposite wall and the water current loops it down and over the substrate. The fluval 20 creates a strong current in a tank that small. I have a drop checker in the back corner that shows a constant 30ppm

Do you know of any micro powerheads or something that might help disperse it sooner than my hob can? I'd love to buy one

Couldn't tell you if I tried. My LFS had it and the package was in what I assume is an asian language.

I'm going back to that store in a few minutes so I can see if there is another one. Hopefully I kept the package at home.

Anyways, it's meant for larger Co2 tanks but my LFS also had an adapter for a paintball tank.

What do you feed your scarlet badis? Mine will only eat live black worms.

There are some powerheads at 52 gph that have an inlet for an airline. You could put a bottle of a bottle over it with an air line from the top into the powerheads and it will suck it out and blast it around. About 99% will dissolve before hitting the water surface

I don't! Not that I haven't tried. All I do for Scarlet Badis is let a strong biofilm establish and let them pick at it. From time to time I put in frozen baby brine shrimp but I've never observed one eating it. They usually seem uninterested.

This method has worked consistently for all the Scarlet Badis I've owned.

Omnibus Co2 Regulator

I did have to buy a paintball adapter which they also make.

You MUST have a check valve with this regulator. Moisture vapor killed my first one. Second one has had 0 issues.
